Combat Arms Brazil - Closed Beta

On June 29th 2010, Level Up! Interactive first announced that Combat Arms Command will reestablish at a new location for Brazillian soldiers to battle for the United Alliance Forces and against Warcorp and whatever. I don't think anyone pays attention to the storyline, Nexon included (Nemesis Research Lab? - that's what you're parodying with "Nemexis", Nexon), so let's get on with the article...

The game is currently in its Closed Beta stage and has no definite schedule for when it'll be in Open Beta and Gold release.

The game itself is not any different as it's still got the same guns, specialists and hackers. However, as you would expect from a localised version, it's in Portuguese.

The accolades have been translated into Portuguese and the graphics that come with them have also changed. If you'd like to look, there are already montages on YouTube. Search "Combat Arms Br" and pick one like this:

The sounds and radio commands have been redone in Portuguese, including the running sound:

The game is not operated by Nexon but will still get the same updates as we will. However, due to the additional translation that needs to be done their version is several version behind ours.

The website for CABR is: levelupgames.uol.com.br/combat-arms/

Question of the Post
Do you post on the official forums or prefer unofficial forums instead?

Did you know?
The free samples they give away at the Vertigo Nex Mall are not as good as the paid stuff even though they say they're the same...

  4. I don't know, I couldn't think of a "Did You Know" segment for this post. Or at least one relating to CABR.
