South America Termination

On April 2, 2009, Nexon America announced that South American service for Combat Arms will cease on April 9.

This was a difficult decision but made due to server latency issues, in order to maintain the integrity and quality of our overall service. We wish to extend our appreciation to our South American users for their time spent playing with us, and we hope that you have enjoyed your time playing Combat Arms.

As of today, no new accounts from the South America region may be created. As of 10:00PM PST on Thursday, April 9th, 2009, service for South America will officially terminate and South American accounts will no longer be able to access Nexon America's Combat Arms.

This service termination did happen, however along with this newspot was a section claiming that any South American user that had outstanding NX or NX items would have their service terminated on October 9th. This day went and past but South American players that held NX were still able to log into their accounts.

Combat Arms Brazil has been launched via LevelUp! Interactive as of June 29th 2010, featuring translations and separate radio commands.

SnowBall Fight was mainly played for its powerleveling abilities. Tens of thousands of people were suspended and demoted to Trainee. The exploit was later gone, along with the game mode's popularity.
