Quarantine Mode was a much-suggested topic on the Nexon forums, partly due to the popularity of Valve's Left for Dead series of games.
The first version of when it was released, the game started with 3 Host Infections. The Host Infections started out with 500HP, with all other infections having 350HP. This was quite a lot, considering that most weapons only dealt 2-3 damage to any part of the body.
Stamina used to be much more than it is now as it was practically unlimited. Explosives used to do less damage than they use to.

Mercenaries (not Specialists) in the American version of the game used to give you an allotment of GP (10, 000 to 50, 000) when purchased from the Black Market. This was removed in order to introduce the High Risk GP supply cases. CAEU still has this reward.
