Recording the Combat Arms: Operation Black Storm sounds

The following is a video of the Combat Arms team recording the Combat Arms gun sounds on December 17th 2006.  It was recorded at Dogs Range, LA.

It is mostly in Korean, with a few English words thrown in.

Operation Black Storm was the original working title for Combat Arms but was dropped for the American release.

Did you know?
Nexon now owns Combat Arms' rival Sudden Attack with the acquisition of GameHi.

  1. Wait.. Is this a new branch of Combat Arms? Or are they recording the for same original Combat Arms?

  2. This is about the same game that you're currently playing now, although I'm not sure that all of these sounds made it into the final game. Obviously the silencer sounds are completely different than what we started with.

Black Storm was just name like AvA's "Urban Operation" or CoD 5's "World at War" - simply a title to grab attention. It's not a new map or new game.

  3. Oh okay. So why didn't they keep that? It sounds cool.
