Spectator Mode

It is known to all players that users can be banned for "Ingame GM Action". What this means that the player was banned on-the-spot by a spectating Game Master. Their judgement isn't always correct, with the Nexon forums having posts of "unfair" bannings being common... ColDroop but GMs are only human and they work for Nexon.

Onto the title though, have you ever wondered what it looks like?

With the game being made in Korea where cheating puts your Social Security number on a company-wide blacklist the game wasn't designed with anti-cheating mechanisms in mind. This can be seen by HP being client-sided and LithTech Jupiter being the engine-of-choice. However, a spectator mode was created to view players without them knowing, as well as making trailers.

The Spectator Mode seen in the trailers is not available to non-Nexon employees and really isn't that exciting. It adds a few features that display what team that person is on, their HP and AP as well as toggles for what teams Voice Chat to listen to.

The spectator mode puts them on nobody's team as well as gives them the ability to float around the map or target a specific player (like Kill Cam currently does now).

Of course, the spectator mode that is used for ingame banning is probably a lot different from above with the power to disconnect any player at will.
