The Warzone Guide in North America was recently updated to accommodate the ever-growing number of maps we have to battle in Combat Arms. It has replaced the old map of the world which placed each Operation in some place in the real world.
The location that was given for each map on the world had no importance or relevance towards the actual maps themselves and so it made sense to get rid of it to increase the War Zones Guide's user-friendliness.
CAEU still features the world map at the time of posting but is not being updated anyway. The CANA world map was similar: (image pending)
Nexon did not really care about the locations of each map either, as the Infected disease seemed to travel across the world with extreme ease.
Did you know?
There has yet to be a status report on whether there will be a "No Specialists" Arms option or if the Discard button will be discarded.
I really liked the old Warzone Guide. It was another one of those things that I think made the game more military-like, unlike it is now. The new one isn't bad though; I just prefer the old one.
ReplyDeleteThis is for your previous post since for some reason I'm not able to comment on it. I never knew perms were just 10 years. I probably will have found a new game in 10 years because lord knows no one can actually play one game for 10 years unless they have some major in-game updates to make the game better and more interesting.
ReplyDeleteWell, permanents bought for an official "Permanent" duration actually last for 9999 days. If you buy an item repeatedly for 10 years though, the game will say that it is permanent (duration with the infinity symbol).
