It all started with forum user Hazarath starting a thread to nerf the recently-introduced specialist weapon, the autoturret (also known as the turrent for some reason - a blend between turret and torrent, perhaps?). It went through many threads, first asking people to destroy all turrets they see but then went to a peaceful protest. In order to do this, signatures with the catchy acronym "FAAT" were created and spread throughout the whole forum.
After the successful nerf of the turret many other groups formed with other acronyms and abbreviations either legitimately or mockingly:
FAAT - Fight Against Auto Turrets
FFCA - Fight for Combat Arms
BOAB - Bring Our Accolades Back
F.A.R.L.A.A.T.R.H.N.P.I.H.A.S.B.B.O. - The Fight Against Ridiculous Long Acronym Associations That Really Have No Place In Here And Should Be Banned Outright.
F.A.R.T - Fight Against Removing Turrets
FFOC - Fight For Old [Supply] Cases
B.B.K.F - Bring Back Kilo Fireteam
F.A.R.K- Fight Against Rage Kickers
P.T.S.H.T.T.S.A.G.G.T.G.T.T.S.T.F.U - Petition To Sacrifice Hazarath To The Stupid Acronym Group Gods To Get Them To Shut The Fuck Up
FARRWA - Fight Against Really Really Weird Acronyms
B.A.U.S.S - Brothers Against Utterly Stupid Shit

Question:
When can we get a "No Specialists" arms mode? [KennySVG]
Answer:
We’re currently looking into this option, but we haven’t made any decisions about whether or not to implement it nor what priority it would have with the development team if we decide to do it.
