Nexon promotes Combat Arms heavily and uses a lot of graphics since they're not advertising a text-based game.
Combat Arms Command has a hard time getting intel from the battlefield and the Screenshot Contest of 2008/2009 started, but they also have a hard time getting the soldiers to pose for photo shoots when they try to recruit new trainees to the battlefield. I hate introductions.
Anyway, what this article is about is showing is that CAC only has a few promotional material to work with and so reuses a lot of it.
Not that there is anything wrong with reusing the poses, afterall soldiers are not models. Usually they're the same soldiers but are equipped with different weapons.
Just an observation. =P
Did you know?
Nexon Guard is encrypted using the Advanced Encryption Standard. AES is the first publicly accessible and open cipher approved by the National Security Agency (NSA) for top secret information.
Heh yeah they do reuse a lot of graphics. Anyway thanks for keeping this blog running. Though I completely hate this game now, it's cool to look back at when it was a good game.
ReplyDeleteOh, and did you know, the original company that made Combat Arms was named 'Doobic Studios'? I find it weird that your name is Doobic lol.
ReplyDeleteYeah, that was why I created the blog. :)
ReplyDeleteThat's kinda the reason I chose the name. I wanted to see if was available since the game is heavily branded with Nexon and I wasn't too sure if I would keep playing anyway.
